The storytelling experience tour aims to discover the unusual places in Gambassi Terme. The main attractions you will visit are:

4- BORGO DI COLLEMUCCIOLI with a path of Via Francigena

We will meet in the morning at the parish church of Santa Maria a Chianni and meet the guide who will accompany us on this discovery. It will be the architect Anna
Giubbolini, the one who oversaw its restoration. Then we will discover the historical centre of Gambassi Terme: Anna will bring to light forgotten places and ancient, unknown stories of places and people who lived here.

Next, a unique and fascinating site awaits us: the convent of San Vettore, a former Benedictine monastery dating back to the 11th century, privately owned and housing a very small museum. We will be welcomed by the owners Erika and Peter Nielsen who will guide us through the fascinating ruins of this site.

Packed lunch in the ruins of the Convent . The tour continues towards San Gimignano and further on we discover the Monastery of Cellole. The enchanting village of Collemuccioli with its original stretch of the Via Francigena closes our visit with the village of Pancole with its Sanctuary. Finally, you will return to Gambassi Terme.
