To fully enjoy the unspoiled nature of Gambassi, there is nothing better than a nice trek. Put on your hiking boots and set out in search of the treasures hidden among the lush vegetation!
You will discover the hypothermal spring of the “Bollori,” the Cave of the Cow, and if you are an experienced walker you can venture from the Aqueduct of the Gorge to the Caves of Maurice, discovering the fascinating story of the hermit who inhabited them in the early 1900s.
The activity is suitable for children 6 years and older and over 65.
The half-day trail follows a section of the Via Francigena with a detour to the hypothermal spring “Bollori” and the Grotta alla Vacca. It has a length of about 3 km and is suitable for beginners.
The full-day route starts from the old Forra Aqueduct to Mauritius Caves. It has a length of about 10 km and is of medium difficulty.
The business is not accessible to customers with disabilities.
