In the heart of Chianti, a small farm boasts an enviable history. A story that binds three generations, each marked by the deep bond with the territory that welcomed them.

It all began in 1951, when grandfather Guerriero, together with grandmother Gina, decided to set up on their own. . At the time the company had four hectares of land and a farmhouse, where wine, oil and Vinsanto were produced.

Years later, the grandson, Alessio, decides to follow in his grandfather’s footsteps and takes the reins of the estate up to double its volume.

Today the Mercatici estate boasts eight hectares of vineyards including Sangiovese, Trebbiano, Vermentino and Malvasia and 1000 olive trees; all surrounded by a breathtaking view in fact thanks to its position, you can admire the splendid towers of San Gimignano.

A company that has its roots in the family and in gratitude towards the territory. A machine that has been able to renew itself over the years, always keeping up with the times, while keeping the ancient agricultural techniques used authentic.

Much appreciated for their authenticity, the labels of Tenuta Mercatici are currently 6 between wine, oil and more. In addition, to remain faithful to its roots, the estate still has a small ‘bar’ where it is possible to buy the product even in bulk.
